Vision

To ensure that every asylum seeker finds a secure and supportive foundation in their new community, where they can build a stable, dignified, and hopeful future.

Mission

Salvavision is dedicated to providing comprehensive support to asylum seekers and deportees. We support asylum seekers by preventing homelessness and facilitating successful community integration. We offer immediate housing, essential resources, medical care, legal needs, and financial stability assistance.

In Nogales, Sonora, we specifically focus on supporting deportees by providing clothing, shelter transportation, and assistance navigating the deportation system.

Our mission is to empower individuals and families to build stable and dignified lives while fostering a compassionate and inclusive environment.

In November 2023, Salvavision witnessed an escalation of violence between organized crime groups fighting for control of the Sasabe, Sonoran region where our resource center is located. We saw over 2,000 individuals and families flee their homes to seek asylum in the United States.

Background

This prompted Salvavision to close the doors of Casa de la Esperanza and shift our focus to reacclimating these families and individuals in Tucson, AZ, and beyond. With the other hundreds of individuals seeking asylum, Salvavision is committed to shifting our priorities to meet the needs of those who have found their way into the United States.
